SCORE Creating a Mission and Vision that Matters

Description

Defining the core identity of a business, articulating where you are going, why you exist, and the principles that guide your journey—is perhaps the most critical foundational step in writing your Business Plan. It is the difference between merely operating a company and building a movement that inspires employees, attracts loyal customers, and withstands the tests of time and market fluctuations. In today's complex and competitive landscape, a clear Mission, Vision, and Values statement is not just a corporate formality; it is your strategic GPS. These statements provide direction when making tough decisions, clarify priorities, and serve as the bedrock of your company culture. Without them, even the most innovative business can lose its way. During the time frame of 60 + minutes, we will define these core concepts and provide you with practical, actionable frameworks to not only define these statements for your own business but make them into your daily operations. If you would like to have your mission statement evaluated, please email them to Hugh McLean at hugh.mclean@scorevolunteer.org but Feb.1, 2026.
