Solai Coffee is a farmer-owned, purpose-driven company redefining how coffee is produced, sourced, and shared with the world. As the face of our farming community in Solai, Kenya, we go beyond just coffee—our mission is to transform the coffee industry by putting people and purpose at the heart of every cup.

We minimize risk in the value chain by cutting out intermediaries and working directly with farmers, ensuring equitable value distribution and fair compensation for the growers who make this journey possible. By doing this, we increase traceability and transparency, showcasing the real stories behind every bean while giving more money back to the farmers and passing on savings to our partners so they can serve their customers with good margins and true impact.

Our coffee is single-origin, fully traceable, and herbicide-free, offering a pure and sustainable choice that aligns with the health of our communities and the planet. Our partners and consumers can trust that our beans are grown with care and without harmful chemicals.

We also recognize the vital role of women and young people in coffee farming. Women provide up to 70% of the labor in coffee production yet face barriers in access to resources and decision-making. That’s why our community initiatives put women and youth at the forefront, providing opportunities to grow, lead, and build thriving futures.

Solai Coffee stands against the injustices of Kenya’s coffee auction system, where price-fixing by large importers continues to undermine small-scale farmers. We challenge this cycle by advocating for fairness, transparency, and dignity, creating a supply chain that works for everyone, not just the middlemen.
